In any business or organization mistakes are going to happen.
We’re all human.
Yet too often I see leaders react without thinking.
Scolding and demoralizing the person who made the mistake.
Or didn’t deliver something to their expectations.
All that does is create fear.
And that fear stops them from even making an attempt to accomplish something in the future.
Teaches them it’s not only to make a mistake.
And they learn absolutely nothing.
It doesn’t have to go this way….
You can take a deep breath.
Support them for trying.
For making an effort.
Teach them.
Have them learn from that mistake.
So they keep showing up.
Keep making attempts.
Knowing that with each attempt they’ll get better and better.
